Community Guidelines

Last updated: September 13, 2026

1. Purpose of the Community

The Shardmonics community exists for score-based discussion, especially around playability, notation decisions, and practical performance judgment. Posts should help other composers, arrangers, performers, and students understand a concrete score passage.

2. Score and Copyright Standards

  • Share only your own scores, public-domain material, or excerpts you are authorized to share.
  • For unpublished, commissioned, or paid scores, post only the measures needed for discussion.
  • Moderators may hide or remove posts that expose copyrighted or private score material.

3. Evaluation and Accepted Answers

Useful evaluations

A good playability evaluation explains the reason behind the rating: range, breathing, fingering, endurance, balance, tempo, or another concrete performance factor.

  • Question authors may accept comments with attached evaluation results.
  • Accepted answers contribute to the answerer's community score and accepted-answer count.
  • Test data, joke evaluations, or malicious ratings may be excluded from learning queues.

4. Reports and Moderation

  1. 1Report spam, promotion, personal information exposure, harassment, false information, or rights violations.
  2. 2Moderators review reports and may resolve, reject, hide, or remove content.
  3. 3Repeated violations may result in community restrictions or account-level action.
